The mission of Emmanuel United Methodist Kindergarten and Preschool is to
provide children with a nurturing learning environment that encourages social,
emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development. Since 1970, EUMK’s preschool has served our community August through May offering programs for
children twelve months through Senior Kindergarten. Class schedules range from
one day only, two days, three days, up to five days depending on the age of the
child. In addition, EUMK offers four one-week summer day camp sessions.
EUMK is licensed by the Department of Education and has been accredited since
1988 by the National Association for the Education of the Young Child. At EUMK
the 40 teachers and staff are committed and dedicated to providing children
with a developmentally appropriate curriculum where learning takes place
through active exploration and play to ensure a positive feeling toward
learning.
