Table Reset: Worship, Communion, and Conversation for the Soul
Emmanuel United Methodist Church is offering something new—and deeply rooted in the tradition of our faith.
Table Reset is a monthly alternative worship experience that centers on Holy Communion and Holy Conversation with other disciples of Jesus. It’s a sacred space to pause, reflect, and reset our lives at the table—together.
This new gathering extends God’s table beyond the traditional, inviting us into a rhythm of rest and renewal each month. It’s designed for anyone looking to reconnect—with God, with others, and with themselves.
No preaching, no pressure. Just presence.

The first Table Reset took place on a beautiful May evening, with children, young adults, and older adults gathered outside around the picnic tables. The setting was simple and warm.
The Spirit moved us as bread was broken, stories were shared, and grace was offered in the middle of everyday life—not just inside the sanctuary on Sunday morning.
Every Table Reset is a little different, shaped by those who come and the stories we carry. But each time, you can expect:
– A sharing of God’s Word and communion
– A place for honest, holy conversation
– An invitation to reset your soul
We believe communion is more than a ritual—it’s an open door to grace.
Around the table, God meets us in the bread and cup, and in the voices of those who gather.
You don’t have to be a member of Emmanuel. You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to show up.
So bring a friend. Bring your kids. Bring the part of you that’s tired or searching or just needs to exhale.
