Every year several religious communities gather for a Thanksgiving service the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Day. The organizations alternate the location each year.
This year, the Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. with reception in the gym following the service. Join us and our neighbors as we give thanks as a community.
Various clergy and choirs will participate in this special service.
Come celebrate and give thanks for our many blessings with our friends from Balmoral Presbyterian Church, Church of the Holy Spirit, Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Germantown, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Holy Communion Episcopal Church, Kingsway Christian Church, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Second Baptist Church, St. Louis Catholic Church, and Temple Israel.
The lovely reception after the service is sponsored by Emmanuel’s Hospitality Committee.
