Emmanuel’s annual tradition continues on Sunday, December 2. Gingerbread Churches are a long standing tradition at Emmanuel during the Sunday School hour at 9:45am. All the children gather in the gym for a Living Nativity presentation by the Confirmation class, enjoy sweet treats & hot cocoa, then decorate their own Gingerbread Church.
Every year several religious communities gather for a Thanksgiving service the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Day. The organizations alternate the location each year.
